From Feeling at Home Wherever You Are Workshop Participants

This workshop shows you that feeling at home wherever you are doesn’t have to be an impossible goal. Cultural barriers do exist but they are not powerful enough to insulate anybody with the right approach to the differences and the right attitude to cope with them.

Elena from Spain

This workshop gives the bridges we need to be able to start a life in a new culture – names and words to express all the difficult you find on your path while living in a new country.

Carolien from Holland

Invaluable in allowing me to put into perspective the differences between cultures and identify that things were different and not ‘wrong or right’, and to take the good from both cultures.

Lynda from South Africa

This course should be part of everyone’s basic training in ‘inter-cultural” literacy so that we can all live and work together with more understanding, better communication, and a deeper appreciation of the gift of diversity!

Debbie from USA, intercultural marriage

From School Administrators

Schools can make a positive and significant difference in the lives of diverse students whose language, culture, and home environment can be different than our own.  BRIDGING  CULTURES recognizes the role schools can play in developing attitudes and values necessary for the transitioning of change.

Winnetka Illinois

For a school that is struggling with a changing ethnic population, or one that is working to bridge the social and educational culture gap between school and families, Bridging Cultures can be a very helpful resource.
